I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Thursday, December 18th, 2025. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

No injury report as the players were off yesterday, but regardless, today is a huge day for the

Niners, even though they don't have to lift

a finger. Quick recap of what is at stake tonight in Seahawks Rams on Thursday night football.

If the Rams win, they basically lock down the number one seed in the NFC and the NFC West.

They certainly end the Seahawks chances of winning the division. If the Seahawks win,

the road to the number one seed will be paved by the 49ers because victories the rest of the way

by San Francisco means the Niners would not have to leave Santa Clara after Monday night's game

against the Colts. Of course, if the Niners are going to do that, however,

they need to take care of business on Monday night football.

Juan Jennings was a guest on KMBR and gave his reaction to facing 44-year-old grandpa

Philip Rivers.

Man, I couldn't believe it.

Me and my friend were just like, that's like pulling a legendary car, man.

It's just, you know, you don't, you just don't hear about those things all the time. And to actually see it happening, you know, while I'm playing in the NFL, I look at it as a blessing as well. You know, that's another great player. and to be able to go and give some, you know, I told him some of D-Ds, man, y'all got to pick them off and then

Like, that's just how much it means, you know, just players that came before us. And he's definitely a great example.
