to a five-year, $265 million contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers, 181 million of it, guaranteed in total.

Great for Brock Purdy.

Honestly, it's a personal thing.

Like, it's great for him.

He seems like he's a great teammate, the awesome guy you don't want to play for.

I just question if he's good enough to be actually fulfilling this kind of a contract.

And also, when you have this contract on your books,

can you build a team around Brock Purdy that can get you back to a Super Bowl?

That's where I'm skeptical with it for the 49ers.

But that's a conversation for further down the line, 26 and beyond.

PJ 2025, the Niners, win total, set around 10 and a half. This team expected it to bounce back.

That is where the market thinks will happen later on this season. They're the third choice to win the NFC.
