1:21.8	when hiring for federal employee roles as relying
1:24.9	on a candidate's previous salary history can disproportionately impact women and members
1:29.7	of underserved communities. Currently 21 states in the US have laws or executive
1:35.0	orders limiting employers from using applicant's salary history and some
1:39.1	states fully prohibit it. Department of Labor data found in places that have salary history bans,
1:45.2	minority workers who changed jobs saw a 7.9% increase in their wages.
