In our time together we will listen to what God has to say in His

word, bring our focus to our breathing, and allow our bodies to rest and recharge.

I'd like you to find a comfortable position, either sitting in a chair, resting on your couch, or even lying in your bed. Let's begin by feeling our breath move in and out. To start to take notice of how the air comes in and then leaves,

As you continue to focus on your breath, I'd like to tell you a story.

One day my family and I went out for a run in our neighborhood, something we often did together. On this particular day my seven-year-old needed a break.

Her legs were sore and tired and she just wanted to rest.

So I loaded her up into our wagon,

tied a stretchy workout band around the handle and looped it around my shoulders.

That way, I could run and move my arms freely while pulling

my daughter behind me. We did a loop around our neighborhood and although I could

feel the resistance behind me, I was doing okay.

Certainly made it more challenging, but I was up for it.

The second time around our neighborhood, the load got heavier and harder. I struggled up the hills a little more and it

definitely slowed me down. It was about halfway through that loop that my older

daughter asked if she could have a turn pulling up, pulling her sister.

I gladly said yes and transferred the workload.

I then began running without the waded wagon behind me and felt so much lighter.

I actually began leaping because I felt so free.
