This lesson is a real treat. These epistles from John, this first one especially, it's a gem in the scriptural canon.

John. In fact, there's some incredible connections that you're going to find as you study

1st John between what you read here and what you read in his gospel, especially the last few chapters.

So John 13 through 17, a lot of those same themes, they're going to get picked up here and spoken of in powerful ways.
