What we're covering here today is basically the idea of a lunar new year, year of the rabbit 2023,

so these are clearly Asian ideas. But let's ask a simple question, how did we become so kind of whittled down to a single spectrum view?

Because that's really what it means to just have the sun to gauge time.

It seems to me, and this is just my point of view that the bare minimum would have to be a

lunar calendar and a solar calendar and if you really wanted to be saying you'd probably take

your civil calendar as a third.

In other words, two calendars based on the creation,

real, not make believe, and then your civil calendar.

But what we've done is we've crammed it all down into a solar calendar, which is as

fugazi as the day as long, and I will ask everybody listening, do you suppose you know what year it is in Ethiopia?

Because if you don't, you should go take a look.

All right man this is an addendum that Jason's going to cut in somewhere near the

beginning of hour one as I was doing the episode image for 486 which deals with the year of the rabbit, I just came across so many things and I should state that I was born in the year of the rabbit by the eastern zadiacal reckoning.
