We continue our discussion of Amanda Knox’ upcoming retrial in Italy for slander against her former boss, Le Chic Bar owner Patrick Lumumba. When the police interrogated Amanda they told her to sign two police written statements, just hours apart. Amanda has always maintained she was not allowed an interpreter or to speak to a lawyer during that interrogation and that she was pressured to place Patrick Lumumba at the scene of the crime. There was a third statement Amanda wrote on her own, shortly after signing the previous two police-written statements, trying to explain her state of mind and her knowledge of the facts of the night Meredith was murdered. In this episode you will hear Amanda reading this third statement and Jim & Laura’s illuminating analyses of it. Listen and let us know your thoughts
