Welcome to the Daily Meditation Podcast. This is Mary Meckley and I want to congratulate you for giving yourself permission to slow down and connect to the best part of who you are. In today's meditation, which is episode 484, you're going to be guided in a walking meditation.

And the walking meditation is based on our weekly theme for this week, which is stillness.

So every single day this week, we've explored a different

meditation technique to help you experience stillness within. And we've also focused on our senses,

bringing in your senses to help you create more stillness. Now yesterday, which was a

Friday as I recorded that, every Friday I release a meditation where I combine all the different

meditation techniques for the whole week and I layer them in a meditation for you and I also share an herb. That is

customized for this week's meditation theme too. So for stillness I recommended verbena. A lemon

verbena is a fantastic tea that is noted for its ability to help reduce inflammation.

So it's a great tea if you want to calm down those frazzled nerves.

It's good for lots of different areas of your body.

If you have a cold and cough, it helps to relax your throat so that you're not coughing

quite as much.

And it helps to relax your whole body, especially if you have arthritis or heart problems
