0:20.2	All right. Finally, we're going to make it to the very end of Psalm 23,
0:24.0	which has taken us two full weeks, but I hope and pray it's been worth it for you. It has been worth
0:29.3	it for me to walk through once again. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down
0:36.2	in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
0:38.8	He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his namesake. And even though I walk
0:45.0	through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff,
0:50.9	they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
0:55.7	You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
1:03.9	days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Well, what is David talking about
1:08.9	that he shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever?
1:11.6	Well, Old Testament people would think that he's talking about the temple, but that can't be possible.
1:16.4	There's not even a temple anymore. That the Lord's temple was torn down in 70 AD, and that temple
1:22.0	is not even the temple that David was in, because it had been torn down and ransacked before.
1:26.9	So what does it mean that you shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever?
1:30.5	This means that you and I will be in the very presence of the almighty God forever and ever.
1:37.0	We call that heaven.
1:38.5	In actuality, at some points we'll get into this.
1:40.5	Heaven is actually a holding pattern until the consummation of all things where
