Welcome to the Huntsback Country podcast. This is episode number 474 and is part of the Experience Project series today, Steve and myself are talking

about how to best spend your time in the weeks leading up to a hunt. So when you have a big

trip planned and lots to do, you need to get specific with making decisions on the best ways to

spend your time, on what really matters, and we discuss that and some very practical tips

for doing so. So just five weeks from today, Steve and myself will be in Alaska, hunting

caribou, and in about six to eight weeks,

many of you guys will be hunting. So what can we do between now and then, and what can you do

between now and then to best prepare for those hunts? And as you'll hear about, maybe there's

some things you need to do after the

hunt or in next season's off season to prepare better in the future. We're all busy. We have so

much going on life and family and kids and jobs. And as much as we enjoy hunting, we of course

can't just hunt full time. So we want to share a conversation and give you guys both a look at how Steve and myself

handle this personally, as well as some strategies for you to handle the time and prepare for

hunts more effectively.
