We have the pleasure of sitting down with defensive tackle Travis Jones today.

And Travis, I'll start here.

You know, last year, I feel like, you know, you're kind of a quieter guy.

Yeah, last year I did about one.

Yeah, after I got that sack of the Giants game, had one person come up to me. And that's about it.

But see, you're such a nice guy. I don't know what was going on. The media felt like threatened or what was it?

I actually have to practice. I try to hide from the media when it came after practice.

That's one thing I try to do. I don't think that's going to work for you this year.

Yeah, exactly. Let's hope not, right? Exactly. So yeah, I mean, your role, you kind of, as we're mentioning here, is going to grow, you know, with Calais leaving going down to Atlanta.

Just what are your feelings about that?

Yeah, with Calais leaving, you know, he had a big part on the D-line, making plays every

game.

And I feel like with him leaving, just give some of the younger guys a chance to go out there

to show that we make plays.

Right, right. I mean, you already contributed a lot as a rookie, but coming into this year, I think with

Callais's absence, too, you talked about you being a little quieter of a guy.

Callais's voice is missing on the practice field.

We're used to hearing him booming from like a field over.
