Nick is an Alaskan Bush pilot and we are using him for our upcoming Caribou Hunt. He's going to fly us into the field and then pick us up at the end of the hunt.

And we speak with Nick about some aspects of that specific hunt, but more broadly what to look for and how to plan a do-it-yourself fly-in, hunt, in Alaska.

Steve and I are really looking forward to this in part to get some good information out there, but also in part because this obviously is

tying directly to a hunt and an adventure that we get to have this fall, which is

going to be here before we know it. at least I'm hoping so because I can't wait but

provide some background for yourself Nick what do you want to share in terms of your background with Alaska,

flying, how did you get into it? Just kind of that big picture story to set some

context for listeners. Sure. I got started flying when I think I was 20 or 21. I welded and pipe fitted out in the villages for a long time so lots of small airplane travel and then prior to that from when I was eight nine years old hunting with my dad and

flying pretty extensively in small airplanes just going out on hunting trips.
