Extreme trigger warning for graphic content, please exercise caution. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month, we continue our conversation with Colette Martin, a survivor of Intimate Partner Violence and advocate who has helped pass laws in New Brunswick, Canada where she lives. Colette explains what Bill 17 is and how it can help alert you if your potential partner has a history of violence and may be a threat. Colette also shares the further trauma she suffered at the hands of a physician who treated her life threatening injuries after the attack by her ex-boyfriend. You will not believe the rest of her story.
