0:15.6	In many ways, permission to be an imposter is something you have to take for yourself.
0:21.6	So if you're hearing this podcast and if you feel like an imposter,
0:25.6	instead of trying to fight it, just try experimenting in the quiet of your own room.
0:30.2	What if I am an imposter? Then so what?
0:32.8	Maybe the idea is that my faking it would be as good or better than somebody else's earnest attempt.
0:39.5	So I think it's very appealing to stop fighting a fear of being an imposter and say,
0:45.8	that's no excuse for staying on the couch.
0:48.8	You know, for any area, it seems like there's a set path, there's a set formula to become
0:55.3	the top of that area. And I think what you say being an imposter is when you're a people who
1:02.5	come into the area without taking that traditional path.
1:04.7	Right, yeah. But you know, never discount what somebody can do completely on their own.
1:12.2	And I think when you first make a decision to burn the boat so there's no returning home,
1:17.5	right? Right. I think that's when things get really exciting because it's sick or swim and
1:22.5	people become incredibly inventive once they become isolated and terrible.
1:26.8	When do you think you burn boats? What was your first experience with it?
1:36.2	So I don't even know how to introduce you. You're like Eric Weinstein,
1:39.2	you're a managing director of Weinstein. I keep forgetting that.
