An undercover police officer, you spent a lot of your life doing that. To be honest with you

mate, I'm not just saying this, it's only in the last six months. I'm a bit ashamed of the

civilians. We have actually realised bloody hell, we really depend on the services.

Like as a normal person, I suppose you say the odd robbery or the odd fire or the odd strain

on the nurses, doctors and all these people, you don't realise just how much we depend on them,

but when you see really big events happen that we have one after the other, the other lately,

you think, fucking hell, without these people, we'd be really up shit-crick. So,

you know, I'll actually sort of a new phone appreciation for them. I don't know about you, mate.

I think I've always had no push-y. I didn't. I appreciated them, but what I mean is I didn't realise

that actual the seriousness of how badly we need these people. I think maybe also, and maybe you can

say the same to this, is what you realise a good, at least things are going well when you don't

realise that's what you have. Exactly. So maybe things aren't going so well now that we know that

we have the police in NHS and all that sort of things. Is that sort of, I don't know, maybe

is it a silly question, but I think is it sort of a good thing for you when people sort of aren't

really aware that the police are around sort of thing, but when you're, because we're more aware

of it now, do you think that that's a sign of the times? It's a sign of events, definitely.

And it's interesting, you say that you become more aware of actually relying on, so isn't the

police in particular. But that's because of the nature of those events, though, isn't it?

And the kind of stuff that I did was a little bit sneakier than that, really. And whereas,

events, as you mentioned in London have been about things that need to be done, things that police

should be doing, police should be protecting communities and reacting and investigating crimes,
