Macon and in the Roan Valley as a winemaker, Vigneron, and Vine Tender.

He braved a storm, a hurricane in fact, to get here today and we're glad to have

So let's talk a little bit about just your whole career.

You were more of a casual wine drinker and more of a passionate rock climber. Is that correct?

Yeah, it was a long time ago though.

How did things get going?

Well, you know, I was grown in a family where we would have wine, almost every

mean. So wine was part of my culture. I didn't know it though. And then I went studying far away, kind of far away from my place. And by

rock climbing I discovered that wine was not only Bordeaux, my first encounter with wine, but also

Gee Gondas also, bojoule, poiseffise and then this whole world I had no idea was existing.

And at the time you weren't in the wine industry by training.

Absolutely not.

No, no, no.

I was studying material engineering and physics.

Oh, okay.

And were you involved in that industry for a while?
