Well, we seem to always have a good podcast.

I know the listeners love having you on,

so I figured I'd give you a ring.

We're going to cover a lot of coo's dear questions today

with, you know, obviously the archery season coming up here here

pretty soon and everyone's drawn their coosier tags in Arizona so I know there's a

lot of interest out there and there's a lot of anticipation and excitement for the 2018 fall season.

Before we get into the Co-Dear stuff, you know, we're about the 6th of August right now and so we're you know about a month

away or so from you know the Elk Bug buglin and what have you I know you typically

guide up in unit one for the archery hunts and muzzle-loader or

early rifle or what have you what are you seeing have you been up what are you hearing you know as

unit one faring better than some of the other units in this drought?

Well you know that's really a good question.

July 1st, we always have our family reunion up at around Big Lake and have had it there for probably

25, 30 years. And this is the first year that I went up there and I drove around and I was horrified that all the springs and all the mudholes and all the little lakes were gone.

And I don't mean dry it up, I mean you wouldn't even know they were there.

And I told my wife, I said, out of my 38 years of guiding, this is the first time I've seen this ever.

And I was really concerned.
