This is one of my most popular procedures and I am able to give beautiful angles and silhouettes using filler and my technique. Friday. And today I'm going to talk to you all about the jawline because I love a good jawline.

I love jawline filler for the definition and contour and beauty that it gives to the face.

And let's talk about getting your jawline done.

First of all, how do you know if you need jawline filler?

Well, looking in the mirror,

there are a couple indications and a couple reasons.

Number one, if you like and admire a strong angular jaw like an Angelina Jolie look and you want that really contoured angle of the mandible, just take a look at your side profile view.

We typically like to see that contoured 90 degree angle accented and highlighted. In men, more so than women, but even in

women these days, it's really trending to have a strong jawline. And it shows and it signifies

confidence, power, and determination. Those are kind of the psychological drives for getting your

jawline done. If you want to have all of that

confidence power and determination when I look at a jawline I tend to notice in the 40-year-old

women to 50-year-old women and men but primarily in women loss of volume of bone density in a couple

of key places as we age the angle of the mandible becomes diagonalized.

And we get a loss of volume in a little notched area just in front of the angle. This is called

your antagonial notch. So if you start to see a little notching along your jaw line, typically we see

that in two spots at the back of the angle and towards the front of the jaw.

And that loss of density allows the tissue to sag and gives you jowling.
