So, Peter, what are we talking about in this episode?

So this episode, we've already recorded the interview, so I apologize if I'm repeating myself at the top of the actual interview

part.

But the comic book crisis was an article that John Workman, who has been in the industry

for decades in all sorts of ways, most notably as a letterer,

but also inker and editor and writer and artist, et cetera, et cetera, designer.

He wrote this article in 1997 all about the comic book industry at that time,

and of course everybody knows, or you can certainly read up enough information,

that the 90s were very, very, were crazy when it came to the comic book industry.

And he wrote this article, and it then found its way into the comics journal in issue 199.
