Well, tell us a little bit about your story and how you got to doing what you're doing. I grew up in a medical family. My dad's a doctor, mom's a nurse, which means that I was exposed to medicine as a kid |

| 1:19.0 | best I could, but I didn't necessarily think about that stuff. And instead, I got medications, |
| 1:23.4 | medications for my asthma, inhalers, pills, allergy medications, allergy shots. |
| 1:29.2 | So I think that I grew up as a kid overmedicated, and that was frustrating for me. |
| 1:35.8 | I had a love of science in school and college, and I thought about going into medicine, |
| 1:42.2 | but after college, I actually took six years off and was a ski bum. I traveled. I spent time in New Zealand. |
| 1:49.5 | I threw like the Pacific Crest Trail. Eventually, I ended up back in medicine first as a physician assistant. I worked in |
| 1:55.4 | cardiology for four years, and then I went to medical school at the University of Arizona that They did residency at the University of Washington and Seattle. |
