Marshall here. Welcome back to the realignment.

If we take a step back from the day-to-day back and forth between the Biden and Trump campaigns. It's pretty

clear that over the next few election cycles in this country the most defining

issue is going to be generational change and turnover. The silent generation and big be boomer generations

represented by both presidents are no longer going to be in charge of

everything in the presidency to the leadership in the House and Senate to the

morality's and governorships across the country.

So as rising generations, the Exers, millennials, such as myself, and of course the

Zoomers look to taking power, I think it's incredibly important that we look back to how previous

generations met their own challenges so we can actually pick up the baton and not make the mistakes

the previous ones made.

With all that in mind, I had a really great conversation with Jeffrey Rosen, the President and

CEO of the National Constitution Center, about the founding fathers.

He has a new book out, it's called The Pursuit of Happiness,

how classical writers on Virtue inspire the lives of the founders and defined America.

Now normally I'm not really one for a revolutionary war history but be political philosophy.

What was so interesting about this book is that he has produced a work that is really

in the self-help and development category. This is really a book for anyone

interested in leadership and some of the big questions that are raised by

anyone seeking to rule and enact their agenda.

So I really recommend to you listen to this conversation,

but also shut out the book as well.
