hey, Sherry. Hi, Doug. Bahamas wants cruisers to cough up $90 million. What? Yeah, it's kind of

interesting. I don't know about coughing it up, but definitely opening their pocketbooks.

The Bahamas Minister of Tourism announced he has plans to find ways to increase visitors' spending in the islands.

And this report came out of the Bahamas Tribune, and it said that the minister hopes to generate around $90 million per year, which sounds pretty amazing to me.

The Minister of Tourism would like cruise ship visitors to spend $20 more per person when they visit the Bahamas,

and they've calculated that the average cruiser now spends about $70 per person.

So with the extra 20, they figure they can reach their goal.

And they also want cruise passengers to use the cruise as, you know,

as we always talk about, a taster, to come back for a longer visit
