Summary

Today we are diving deep in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Katie Mather, writer and podcaster, joins us today to share about her experience with psychedelic-assisted therapy (ketamine & cannabis) to treat depression and trauma - and the underlying theory on why psychedelics are believed to be effective in treating mental health issues.
Katie grew up in Alaska with a respect for two things—nature and the power of a good story to change everything (or at least something). She is a high school English teacher and soccer coach turned writer and podcast host. In 2020, KT published her first novel - "Rage is a Wolf". She currently lives in Vermont with her family, where she writes and hosts the podcast “Out of Curiosity with KT Mather"
