As I am recording this, I am freshly home from a marathon

trip to Southern California, where I got to both attend and present at Clicker Expo, which is

three awesome days of the nerdiest dog training conference on the planet. In fact, you can

probably hear my voices maybe not quite as deep and sexy as it normally is. I'm still recovering

a little bit from all of the talking, both presenting and shouting across the table at other

really passionate and excited dog trainers. Not shouting aggressively, but just because we get really

excited and we talk fast and we talk loud and that tends to happen I think to all of us. So

my voice got quite the workout over the last week. Clicker Expo is always like a really crazy

time for me because there's this huge buildup between getting ready for the Clicker Expo in

January, which is usually on the West Coast and then the Clicker Expo East Coast version, which is usually in March.

So there's this like January through March big blur of kind of awesome but also craziness

that tends to happen.

And this year was no exception.

But I love it because as exhausting as it is, I always leave feeling just like refreshed

and completely changed as a trainer and a teacher and a person,
