Hello folks and welcome to Luke's English podcast. In the last

podcast I talked about anecdotes and then you listened to a couple of anecdotes by some BBC radio deges.

In this podcast you're going to listen to me and a friend of mine called Andy just talking and sharing anecdotes about petty crime.

So we're still on the subject of petty crime. So you'll hear us basically sharing about

four anecdotes. So you can just listen to those and I will stop them after each anecdote and kind of explain

some of the vocabulary that we used in the conversations.

Right, Andy, so I've been talking about anecdotes in the podcast.

Okay. Yeah. So, let's see. Everyone's got like a set of anecdotes that they that they kind of tell right and

they know them by heart and they you know they've tell them so many times and they know

how it's going to work yeah they know what's funny yeah yeah exactly so I thought what we could do is share a few of

our amusing anecdotes okay nice So, let's see.

Have you got, you know, do you want to kick off, do you want to get started with one of your

I can tell you my anecdote. Yeah, I can tell listen and enjoy. I can tell your anecdote. This is when I was at

university in my second year we we lived in Lancaster in the town of Lancaster and which is a small

town in the north of England near the Lake District and one evening me and my friend got arrested.
