Summary

In today’s episode, Bob interviews Jillian Jalali, the host of the “Court Junkie” podcast. Jillian began Court Junkie as a blog where she could share her passion for true crime and everything court-related. Using her marketing skills, Jillian launched the massively successful Court Junkie podcast, and since then has interviewed on several popular television shows, where she brings light to cases that need attention. Bob and Jillian discuss moving to the Chicago suburbs, the White Sox vs. the Cubs, working in journalism, and the case of Henry Segura. In 2010, a family of four was brutally murdered and, almost 10 years later, Henry Segura was convicted of the crime. A lack of evidence, in addition to someone else confessing to the murders during Henry’s trial, points to reasonable doubt and a strong possibility that law enforcement may have put the wrong man behind bars.
