Summary

Mitchell just returned from Disney Cruise Line's Disney Dream where he did a five-night honeymoon Bahamas cruise. Mitch is a seasoned cruiser and his wife has only been on one voyage prior to this sailing. We hear his thoughts on planning the cruise, dining, Castaway Cay, and the public areas aboard Disney Dream. One special feature on this cruise is that it stopped in Castaway Cay twice.

Cruise Critic just released their Cruiser's Choice Destination Awards for 2017. The award highlights the most popular cruise ports in every region. Ashley stops by to give us some of the highlights.

You're a lively bunch, and I like it. Keep it coming. All right, hey, Sherry. Hey, Doug. So our first story, a bad cruise situation turned good. Yeah, the story started out, well, her name is Nancy Great House and her husband, Paul.
0:59.7	They've planned this retirement trip of a lifetime for both of them, and she's been ill for quite a while.
1:05.9	She was diagnosed with terminal cancer, but with her doctor's approval the great houses flew
1:12.8	from their home in maryland and boarded a carnival ship for a two-week cruise in alaska but midway
1:18.4	through the cruise um she also suffers from a muscular degenerative disease called mycinia gravis
1:26.2	and it flared up during the cruise, and it was so bad
1:30.0	that she couldn't breathe. She needed to be on a ventilator. So she was airlifted first to a
1:36.2	hospital in Juneau, and she received a medical treatment right away, but the hospital in Juneau
1:42.0	could not treat her appropriately, so they medevacked her up
1:46.0	to Anchorage to Alaska Regional Hospital. Her son, Dan, set up a GoFundMe page, and this is really
1:54.4	amazing. You know, the poor woman was just two week to walk. She couldn't even stand. It's only been
1:59.3	15 days that the GoF fund me account was set up and
2:02.5	the reason it was set up you know because you know why would you do that she'd been in the hospital
2:07.2	in critical care for 20 days she was fighting to stay alive and she had just about come to the end
2:14.8	of her Medicare coverage before this what's called a lifetime benefit kicks
