What's going on, everybody?

Welcome back for another episode of Trigger.

This is Tritips number 442 here on Tuesday, March 14th.

Let's get started with the big news right now, of course,

is the crumbling state of the U.S. banking system and economy.

It is not looking good.

Yeah, you called it last week.

There's going to be a downgrade.

Yeah, there was a key downgrade.

Moody's today downgrading the U.S. banking system from stable to negative to, quote,

reflect the rapid deterioration in the operating environment following deposit runs at Silicon Valley Bank, Silvergate Bank,

signature bank, and the failures of SVB and SNY.

So this is a major problem.

They also put in there the warning that several individual banks quote with substantial

unrealized security losses, and there may, they still may be more banks that are susceptible to this.

So there is a list of about 10 to 15 banks that are teetering on the edge.

They'll probably be fine with the bailout system that the Fed set up.

Are these banks smaller than SVB?

Yeah, well, SBB was huge.

Yeah, I mean, oh, obviously.

I mean, second largest failing, you know.

In U.S. history.
