Welcome back to the podcast! In today’s episode, Chantel got to speak with Laurie Lewis. Certified coach, Laurie Lewis, has changed the lives of thousands through her coaching of Intermittent Fasting. Utilizing time-tested (and science-tested) principles, Laurie takes on individual clients as well as leading her group programs Live on Zoom. She helps determined, exasperated, busy people (who are tired of dieting!) from the United States to New Zealand to Ghana to Israel to Scotland.    Combining a 22-year personal study of nutrition (Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition) with her research and practice of Intermittent Fasting, Laurie supports clients and participants with a dream come true. Yes, it is possible to eat the foods you love and live your life feeling strong, vibrant, and lean!    Stubborn hormonal fat hit hard in 2012, causing her to suddenly gain 50 pounds. For years, she tried everything and none of the old tricks worked. She hit rock-bottom and almost resigned to the “fact” that she would keep getting heavier and feeling worse and worse forever. At a particularly despondent time in 2017, a video unexpectedly popped up which would turn the course of her life. Like, what does that look like for you?

I'd love to start with that as specific as you can of what you're doing for what you're exactly eating, what you're not

eating, what you're eating window is, what your workout routine is, and any kind of hormones or

products that you're using. Okay. Well, the life in a day of Lori Lewis now, I just turned 60 and I've been intermittent fasting for just about six years and I've never missed a day in nearly six years of having an eating window.

So the foundation for my wellness is absolutely knowing that I fast clean every day and I keep an

eating window. And so I, I'm just so grateful that my health is, is exceptional. I had a longevity,

series of longevity tests taken a year ago and my biological age is 40. So that means

that my cellular health, my health of my mitochondria. So I wake up in the morning. I wake up early.
