things got a little bit formulaic. In my experience with Champaign, you know, having been working with Champaign for 20 years,

I have seen the region change dramatically in that time.

So I guess what I really wanted to do was write a book from a very

contemporary perspective, write a really 21st century champagne book. If the

20th century was about winemaking in Champaign, the 21st century is really about the
