My scent of the day today is Le Chocolat by Chobode Maison de Parfam.

This scent is so fun.

It's reminding me of, okay, when I was a kid, I'm talking like, I don't know, like five years old.

We took a family vacation to Hershey Park and we went on that like tour of chocolate world.

I don't know.

It's a very specific reference.

But if you know, you know.

And the entire tour is scented of this like dusty cocoa milky but also sort of like dark

chocolate smell and that is what my skin currently smells like the jury is still out like i don't know

if i would wear this out but it is making me so happy there's also know, in the middle of these like dark chocolate and

cocoa notes, there are also some woody notes and there's also a jasmine note, which gives

it the slight floral see that I think actually as edible as it is makes it wearable as well.

I think the reason I'm loving this is because it straddles this line of like so playful,

so whimsical, but also something that you could wear. Like part of me is like, oh, I'm an umpalumpa

in Charlie's Chocolate Factory, like on my work break floating down the chocolate river. But then the other

part of me is like, no, I am wearing a sexy gourmand and I am ready for a night out on the town.

And I think the fact that I can't figure out which one is why I'm so drawn to this fragrance.

It is my favorite in the Leigh Collection from Shibu.
