On the pilot TV podcast this week, Boyd and I will be recording the show Topless in honor of the new season of Poldarks.

So do try not to let the thought of our washboard abs and chiseled pecks distract you

from the rest of the show. We're also catching up with Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Hayden Chirks

and possibly some other famous trinomes as we navigate their extramarical affairs in season

three of HBO's divorce. Finally we'll be venturing into some much darker territory with BBC's

Dark Money. I'm James Dyer and welcome to the Pilot TV Podcast, a show which has no time for your summer or outdoor pursuits as we turn our noses

up at the bubbling thermostat and retreat back indoors to a darkened room in order

to watch countless hours of TV just as nature intended.

Crawling out from their viewing caves for the time it takes us to record this podcast are my two

square-eyed compatriots.

First up, a man whose early years were chronicled to humorous effect in the early 1980s where Molly Sugden played his mother.

I refer of course to I TV's 1981 show, That's My Boyd. Oh, that's my Boyd. Oh that's Boyd Hilton that's one of your best I was just but where is he going with that?

The bet you didn't didn't expect. I was very fond of Molly Suggden of each on the

podcast didn't and I'm very fond of Molly Sugdition. Molly Sugd didn't and I'm very fond of Molly Sugd

and I was brought up on I you being served.

You never watched that's my boy?

I must have watched some of it but I don't remember it very well.
