Welcome into the lounge presented by Draft Kings. We are here to talk about the week 18 regular

season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals, but off the top here letting listeners know that

we will not be having a player guest this week. Obviously, it's a very odd, strange week around the NFL, as everybody kind of watches for

Damar Hamlin and the progress that he's making as he's in critical condition.

And, yeah, it's just been a somber week.

And so we're honestly trying to give the players a little bit more breathing room than we

typically do during a media week. So it's just Garrett and I today. And we'll

talk about tomorrow, obviously some and what we've heard from players in the locker room this

weekend and obviously the Bengals game. Yeah, it just didn't feel like this was the week to have a

player kind of sit down and do a typical interview that we normally do

with a lot of laughs and it just didn't feel like that was the right thing to do we want to give the players

some time and space and everyone's kind of processing this and thinking about the impact of it

obviously it's something that has rocked the NFL and really the whole country

I mean this is something that everyone is talking about oh man yeah the magnitude of it is is far

reaching and you know as we're recording this there's been some positive updates on the

damar hamlet front the latest is that um the neurological activity it seems to be intact and that he's you know

open his eyes open his eyes and his uh showed some responsiveness is squeezed the hands of his

relatives um so all that is really really really positive news i mean a lot of prayers that are

that are that are out there right now. And I think that that is really

encouraging developments. And certainly we hope that that, you hope and pray that continues.
