My guest today is Republican poster, Patrick Grafini, author of Party of the People

Inside the Multiracial Populous Coalition remaking the GOP. In Patrick's Telling,

despite Trump's 2020 loss, he received 12 million more votes than he did in 2016.

On top of that, he put together an unexpectedly diverse coalition that doubled down on his

gains with the multiracial working class.

It's far too early to claim that GOPs truly become the party of the

working class, building a longer term multiracial coalition. But considering how

type of the polls are and the fact that a low six-figure amount of swing

state voters decided the 2020 election, an American politics defined more by education

and class identity as opposed to the more traditional racial bounds that have defined

post-civil rights-era American politics would transform not just the 2024 election,

but the next few decades. Huge thank you to the foundation for making
