| 0:00.0 | I want to tell you a story about three different people who all end up with $1 million, |
| 0:04.2 | but they all get to that point in very different ways. The first person plays the lottery. |
| 0:09.4 | They have a winning lottery ticket with the right numbers, and so they get lucky, and they have |
| 0:13.2 | a million dollars. The second person steals $1 million, whether it's robbing a bank or doing some |
| 0:18.5 | other kind of digital stealing. they steal from other people, |
| 0:21.2 | they do something illegal, they end up with a million dollars. |
| 0:24.1 | The third person starts a business. |
| 0:26.1 | In this case, we are in the real estate investing business, and they buy a property, they |

| 1:05.6 | become a better business person. They had to build skills. They had to build relationships. |
| 1:09.4 | Probably had to change their mindset in order to overcome some challenges to get there. |
| 1:12.6 | So the third person, as opposed to the other two, actually had to become something where they grew in order to make a million dollars. |
| 1:19.7 | The second person became a criminal. The first person who won the lottery didn't change at all. |
| 1:24.1 | Now, I first heard this idea when I was reading a really good book called Parenting Champions by |
| 1:28.7 | Lanny Basham. Lanny, the author, was a Olympian, won a gold medal in the Olympics and rifle shooting. |
| 1:34.9 | He's also been a mental performance coach for a lot of other athletes. And I was reading this book as a |
