My guest today is Gilman Lilly. Gilman is the CEO of America's Frontier Fund,

a technology and investment platform focused on the critical technologies and industries

that are going to define America's ability to lead in the 21st century. Gilman has a super

interesting background, everything from building video games in the 1980s and 1990s,

working at Hasbro to also setting up the venture capital fund at the CIA 1979,

which actually invested in Palantir and a bunch of really important tech companies that really

defined the 2000s and 2010s. Now in this conversation we discussed its work at AFF, AI,

the future of domestic resiliency, and once again all of the industries and processes that are

kicking off an episode by asking a guest to introduce themselves in their background. It's kind

of a lazy cheat, but in this case, I think it's actually deeply relevant because your career has

been so varied across so many different industries. So for the context of our conversation around

frontier technologies, investment, and the technological competition in the 21st century,

can you introduce the aspects of your career that are most relevant to a listener who's tuning in
