Hey, everybody. Welcome to another edition of Ten Gently Speaking. You're joining me in

sunny Topanga, California, Topanga Canyon just north of Los Angeles where I'm

sitting in my aunt's very funky house. Her, this house is sort of like bolted to

the side of a canyon. One entire wall of the living room is a rock. It's just a

big rock and the house is glummed onto the side of the rock. Very, it's my

favorite house in the world probably. I've been coming here since I was a kid and

always loved the views. You've got Eagles cruising by or Hawks maybe. Maybe

they're Hawks. Big-ass predatory birds and any rate cruising by. You have

beautiful views. This is the home of a lot of the funkier people who have lived

in L.A. over the years ranging from Crosby Stills, Nash and Young to the

Manson family. They were all up here in Topanga. So if you ever get to L.A. and

you want to break from the city, set your GPS to Topanga, California, and cruise

up here. It's 20 minutes from downtown or maybe half an hour if there's no

traffic. It just cruise up the PCH. Take a right before you get to Malibu and

it's like you're in Colorado suddenly. It's amazing to be this close to a

huge city and the air is clean and there are coyotes at night, howling and a lot

in nature. It's very cool. Anyway a lot going on. We've been in L.A. for about

10 days now. We're leaving for Africa in a few days for Kassilda's daughter's

wedding, which will be bizarre, wild, crazy, big African wedding. Looking

forward to that in Mozambique. But in the meantime we've been in L.A. and as

usually happens when I get to L.A. all sorts of media opportunities open up. So I
