Well, that was Ben Lacey, one of my favorite guitar players.

Yeah, I just love Ben's playing.

He's a true Funkopotamus.

He'll throw down the bass part, drum part, vocal part, and guitar part all at one time on a six string and and it still has that great feel.

Got that junk in the trunk, that swing.

His grooves have hips.

I really like that about his playing.

I've been a fan of his since I first saw him at the NAM show one summer, one of the summer NAMs a few years ago.

And when I started this podcast a year and a half ago, I was like, okay, of course I want to get some big time names on there.

But I also want to get people who haven't sold millions of records yet.

I want to get some of these amazing players and introduce them to you and put you in the chair in the room with them so you can have them play for you and show you exactly what they do.

And Ben Lacey was really at the top of that list for me.
