Hello, everybody, and welcome to MormonStories. This is MormonStories Book Club podcast, and I'm Heather Olsenbeel.

And I'm here tonight with an author with Craig Harleen. Is that right, Craig?

Harleen, the author of a book called Conversions, two family stories from the Reformation and Modern America.

And four cool readers, who actually a couple people, I was kind of like, hey, do you guys want to do a different book?

Because we have enough people, and everyone was like, uh, I feel, but I really wanted to do conversion.

So I just said, okay, let's go for it, right? If we have people that are really interested in it.

So I'm really excited about this book. I've seen a couple people sort of in miscellaneous Mormon Internet land over the last couple days, um, mentioning it.

And I'm like, is everyone reading this book? Is everyone loving it?

And I haven't encountered a whole bunch of people, so I hope that people listen to it because I thought it was amazing.

And I feel like I want to send it to about 22 different people who I would like to, uh, to read it.

So I'm really excited.

Um, so before we get started, really, I'm going to ask each of the panelists just to quickly introduce yourselves and just tell us just quickly who you are and kind of what you do.

And then we'll get a little bit more information out of, out of Craig. So Daniel, you want to start?

Sure. Um, my name's Daniel Rossin. Um, I'm a huge fan of this book. I loved it. So I'm excited to participate.

Uh, I'm from Houston, Texas, uh, raised Mormon and went to BYU. And yeah, excited.

Cool. See, Daniel's from Texas and doesn't have as much of a Texas accent. We were just discussing this before the recording, right?

That's right. Oh, I did live in Chicago for a little while. So I don't know. Maybe that affected it. I don't know.

Yeah, I'm in Houston. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm out in the sticks. It's okay. It's okay. All right. Kimberly, you want to go?

Sure. I'm Kimberly Brinkerhoff. And I live in North Carolina, but I also lived in Texas for 12 years before I came here last year. I'm not from there though. I'm from sort of nowhere. I've moved around a lot.

I also love the book. And I'm a big fan of history and, um, religious history. So that's why I was hungry to do it and didn't want to be pond off on something else.
