Summary

The Happiness Formula (How do I make this work?)

A formula for happiness is based on some simple yet challenging principles. First, we exhaust every option to improve our current situation. Second, once we have exhausted our options and nothing has changed, we ask a critical question: "How can I make this work?" Happiness is always an option as long as we can accept the current situation and make that work.

And though the doctors did everything they could to heal his foot and ended

1:08.1

with a very cheerful attitude, he said,

1:10.1

I'm going to learn how to walk around

1:12.1

with an artificial leg. That's going to be my next big adventure.

1:16.0

And he deeply means it.

1:18.0

You may be wondering, well, does he really mean it? Will he just learn how to walk around with the artificial leg and not get upset and angry and all that goes with that?
