Good morning my friends. Thanks for joining me on the morning mindset. This is where

we are intentionally working to set our minds on the truth of God.

Because that makes a difference.

It makes a difference in the way we interact with people.

It makes a difference in the way we live.

And it makes a difference eventually in the way that we feel. And I say

say eventually because feelings as one dear brother has put it are kind of like a

bebee in motor oil it takes a long time for those things to settle down to the bottom. You know what I'm saying?

We have this battle going on, don't we, with our emotions, with our

and negative feelings about ourselves.

But the truth of God is our elixir, it's our antidote.

It's the thing that helps us to mitigate the effect of negative feelings

and put them in their proper place.

And that place is under the blood of Jesus Christ.

We're going to move on in Romans chapter 8 today and begin looking at verse number nine and verse number ten. So if you have a

Bible or you have the ability to grab one I encourage you to grab it and read this

because there are some important things here that we need to address. The apostle Paul says this, he says you, however, are not in the

flesh but in the spirit if in fact the spirit of God dwells in you.

Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him.

But if Christ is in you,

although the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness.
