Doing good Jay how are you doing?

Good I'm anxious to have you on the podcast. You know I've got a little story about your shop there, Trader's rendezvous there in Gunnison. Years ago we used to hunt a bunch with my friend Steve Winery.

They're kind of between Gunnison and Lake City and I've actually believed I've been in there multiple times and unbelievable antler display and collection there and what you were telling me earlier is I need to get in there because it sounds like you

guys got even more stuff than you did 10 or 12 years ago.

Oh yeah, keep buying.

Keep buying. So tell me a little bit about traders rendezvous and your dad opening it up and talk to me a little bit about the business and then we're going to dive into Colorado Elphier, goat and sheep.

Sweet.

So my dad, his family moved here when he was about eight years old, moved to Gunnison, Colorado. My grandpa started a bunch of businesses on a

bunch of businesses in town including outfitting companies, rafting companies, car lots, and this where traders rendezvous currently is was a pawn shop.

So it was kind of filled with the crap you'd find in a pawn shop, bikes, TVs, you know, the whole lot.

And my dad, when he was about 23 years old, he said, hey, I want to buy this.

So he started making payments, buying it from my grandpa.

And it's funny, we were looking at the pictures the other day.

And it actually, the first pictures of the store,

there's a bike rack with about 12 bikes on it, one El Ked and a pile of antlers.

So it started at that and now we've got mounts and antlers from all over the world.

He's been doing it for 31 years now so we've

been in the same place for 31 years and he's just acquired quite the

collection over the years and like I said just keeps buying.

That's awesome and you know probably the price of antler you know it fluctuates but it's a heck of a business especially if you guys have been in it a long time
