I have a lot to talk about today.

So let's start with once upon a time in Hollywood, the new Quentin Tarantino film. I saw it. I loved it.

I thought they did a really good job and I won't give away any spoilers. But I think that Margot Robbie did a really good tribute to Sharon Tate.

The ending was super satisfying to watch. And you can kind of like feel why Sharon Tate's sister was so pro. I don't know if any of you guys are following along with that kind of stuff.

But her sister was really pro this movie being made. And I think after seeing it, I'm like, oh, okay. That makes sense. Why?

So you guys will see if you've seen it. If you've already seen it, you know what I'm talking about. Another thing that I noticed during the movie, which like I already knew this about Quentin Tarantino, but my friend didn't.

She's like, wow, there's a lot of feet in this movie. Like the dude is a foot freak. Like he has like a really intense foot fetish. So you'll notice that in the movie. If you didn't notice it before, you're welcome, I guess.

Okay. And lastly, make sure that you're following along on my Instagram at Spencer Henry because actually my sister Olivia came up with this idea. And I think it's so fun. I'm going to start putting a hint as to what the next week's episode will be about in the background of one of my Instagram posts during the week.

Look a little scavenger hunt. So let's just get to the good stuff. Today's episode we are going to be taking it way back to the 1920s.

Q the music from in system. The Papin sisters are one of the most infamous cases of folia do in history.

Folia do is a term that defines shared psychosis, particularly in relation to delusional behaviors.

All right. So does anybody remember a little case I covered on episode 22 called the Ericsson twins?

If not, I highly recommend going back and listening if you like today's episode. It's a more recent case.

It's a really good example of folia do in the true crime community. Today's story all takes place in the 1920s in limon's France.

And it's just like it's wild pretty much from the get go. I'm going to give you a quick timeline. We have the parents Gustave and Clements Papin.

Now there's a lot of details here. So I'm just going to try and go through it. So just at least listen closely for this part.

Gustave and Clements are a couple that probably should have never decided really to get married in the first place.

Clements was sleeping with her boss behind Gustave's back. Gustave found out, but at the same time Clements discovers that she's pregnant.
