Francis Albert is a night girl.

Frank Sinatra's rise to fame as a singer, radio personality and movie star, more or less

coincided exactly with the run up to and fighting of World War II.

A game changing heartthrob and teen idol, Sinatra was the most beloved man in America during

this period, at least to girls and women.

To American men, particularly those overseas fighting the war, Sinatra was, as historian

William Manchester later put it, the most hated man of World War II.

Much more than Hitler.

The reason for this was the reception that Sinatra had improperly dodged the draft.
