| 1:27.3 | Or even if we are not able to be with our family, it's a good time to reflect on the idea of family and our feelings about family. |
| 1:36.3 | And perhaps an even better time yet to look at the broader definition of family as it relates to our human family here on earth. |
| 1:47.3 | So I asked my guests this season to please share for them what the feeling of family was for them, remembering that we wanted to look at this feeling of family from the positive side of things. |
| 2:05.3 | What are the positive feelings associated with family and they had so many wonderful reflections. |
| 2:13.3 | And I want to recap those for you. So here's what they shared the feeling of family is unconditional love and support being able to be fully yourself, |
| 2:26.3 | wholeness, being uplifted and wanting to uplift in return. |
| 2:32.3 | Love, encouragement, a willingness to make time for people, sincere reciprocal connection, an anchor for ourselves, no judgment, trust, reliability, unwavering acceptance, |
| 2:52.3 | a desire to look after one another, a willingness to work creatively with what we were given and what we have chosen, an underlying bond of connection. |
| 3:08.3 | My purpose in asking this question of my guests was twofold. I wanted people to go into their positive associations with family and feel what that is for a moment because, you know, we spend a lot of time in our lives focusing on the negative, the worries, the fears, the concerns, the what ifs. |
| 3:29.3 | So I think it is a really great practice to just take a moment to focus on the positives, the warm feelings, the wishes and dreams, the gratitude. |
