Summary

Our relationships often carry the imprints of our childhood, especially when it comes to the complex and generally unspoken father wound. In this first episode of a four-part series, I dive deep into how early experiences with our father figures — whether through absence, emotional distance, or even subtle disconnection — shape our adult relationships in powerful ways. We explore how these wounds manifest in patterns like seeking unavailable partners, feeling inadequate, or grappling with the fear of never being enough. By understanding these dynamics and the relational cycles they create, we can begin to shift from a place of pain toward healing and deeper connection. 0:55.0

that we don't even know often that we're doing these things,

0:59.0

and what we're doing when we're using co-dependent hooks is we're leveraging power. We don't know

1:04.1

we're leveraging power but we are because there's a lack of trust, there's a fear of a

1:08.5

lack of safety even though there might be safety present. So this is you know

1:12.3

kind of like the mindfuckery of it is that a

1:14.9

lot of these things can be happening and they just oh this is these are just my
