very excited to have with me a part three of a series with Dr. Brian Hales. He's an anesthesiologist

in Salt Lake City. But he's just released a new set of books called Joseph Smith's Polygamy

with Greg Coford Books. And the first two episodes of our podcast received really good attention

and feedback. We're recording this as a video as well that's available on youtube.com slash

Mormon Stories because there's a company set of slides that we're going to be using to help in

Brian's presentation. Part one and two, part one was a refutation of Grant Palmer's treatment

of sexual allegations against Joseph Smith. We'll refer you to that that's episode 402. And then

part two was sort of Brian laying out 12 myths regarding Joseph Smith's polygamy.

This part three is something that the Brian and I thought would be really valuable. I basically

asked Brian you know that there's a segment of our audience that wants to retain a some type of

belief in in the LDS church and and participation. But in you know historically there are many that

sort of see polygamy and polyendery and and things about how it was polygamy was handled.

They sort of see that as a deal killer. And and yet you know here you are Brian sort of defying

that position because you're someone who we could argue might be among the top five people in the

world in terms of a detailed knowledge of Joseph Smith's polygamy. And yet you stand here as a

committed believer. And so the purpose of this episode is just to lay out this is not to convince
