Tonight's Dead Letter is another one in a rapidly growing category of paranormal events connected to military deployments.

But this one has a twist.

Indeed, it does. Neither me nor Forrest have any personal military experience, but I am always extremely fascinated by the things that happen to

soldiers when they're deployed. The locations that these brave folks go to are wholly unimaginable

to me in many cases, especially tonight's story, which takes place on the western border of Iraq

in Jordan.

That's true.

And I think part of the reason is that they do get deployed to these far-flung places

where there's a lot of turmoil.

That's their job.

And I think it kicks stuff up.
