Now, if I were to rename this for the Adult Child version of this book, it would be called,

I want this to work, even though you treat me like shit,

even though you're an active alcoholic with no intention of getting sober,

even though you broke up with me and you told me never to call you again into lose your number,

I want this to work, I need this to work and I will make this work.

So I'm talking to her about a whole bunch of shit, such as her broken picker,

or rather I should say her formally broken picker,

quite a juicy story there guys, so stay tuned.

I'm talking to her about boundaries, about attachment, styles,

and about how she navigates through a variety of issues that come up in couples counseling,

such as trauma and addiction and narcissism and abuse.
