Now we'll get it on here for an hour solo as we're good to go. We have, I guess I would say, good news, certainly.

I always like when I read these announcements, it got me kind of thinking about a bunch of

different things. First of all, I like it when we're able to look back on the success stories of so many

four state athletes that I've now had the good fortune to cover or in some cases get to know

to varying degrees and certainly have watched play out throughout a career.

But, you know, further removal of time to be able to look back,

to be able to say that, you know, I saw so-and-so.

You've heard me say on this show many times that as,

and I said this back when I was in my 20s and now I'm 53,

and it's just weird for me to make these references.

But as sports fans, we share a passion and a bond in a way, right?

Whatever it was that drew us to sports, whatever it was that caused us to have a passion for it, play,

participate, watch, embrace, read about, learn, project, argue over, share, travel. So many things

that lead you to sort of this community of sports fandom,
